Chicha Libre started out in 2006 as a tribute to Peruvian chicha and quickly evolved into an original project that MTV has called “one of the world's preeminent Tropical Psychedelic band”. The group has released two albums (Sonido Amazonico and Canibalismo and and an EP of covers (Cuatro Tigres). Chicha Libre has toured extensively in Europe, North and South America.
